Quality Assurance Manager: Manage and oversee the company’s food production processes to ensure the quality and safety of the company’s food products. Establish and implement policies, procedures, and quality control standards for the company’s food production and ensure compliance with company and industry quality, safety, and sanitation regulations. Develop procedures for inspecting inventory, materials, products, and equipment to detect defects and direct staff to dispose of any defective items as necessary. Establish standards for monitoring and maintaining the temperature, humidity, and other environmental conditions necessary for the proper storage of various products, both shelf-stable or refrigerated. Oversee quality assurance testing of food products including for viscosity, texture, PH, moisture, and water activity. Evaluate results of tests and make changes to production processes, operations, and procedures, as needed. Communicate with management and staff effectively regarding any serious errors or adjustments and make recommendations to improve product quality and production efficiency. Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and all baked orders have a quick turnover from the warehouse to delivery. Organize and conduct exercises for recall, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), and Food Defense and Food Fraud Programs with staff and management. Supervises one (1) Quality Assurance Assistant and one (1) Production Supervisor.

Requirements: The position requires two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires knowledge of water activity meters, viscosity meters, texture analyzer, PH meter, moisture analyzer, Excel/Acupoint software, inventory management.40 hours/week.
